About Leveret Communications

Leveret Communications is headed up by Julie O’Hare, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), who has over 15 years experience of developing and implementing highly successful integrated communications programmes for clients in the consumer, health, education, arts and not-for-profit sectors.

Julie began her professional life as a dancer with Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet before leaving to study Anthropology and Communications at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she graduated with a First-Class Honours degree.

During a successful career in PR, she has delivered national and regional media relations campaigns for a number of high-profile charities and acted as media spokesperson on a range of issues including disability, special education, obesity, exercise and smoking.

She also has a strong background in internal communications, stakeholder relations and has been responsible for corporate identity and publications programmes for her clients. In her work for voluntary sector clients, Julie played a key role in co-ordinating high-profile visits by MPs, celebrities and Royalty, including the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

Julie has been awarded Accredited Practitioner Status by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and is a former Chairman of the Institute’s Midlands Group.
